Martin Young has gained over 15 years’ experience working across Fund Management, stockbroking, investment banking asset management and financial planning.

Martin holds a degree in Economics from the University of Stirling as well as the Investment Management Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments in the United Kingdom and M3 Fund Management.

A fully qualified fund manager and stockbroker in the United Kingdom and has previously held CF21 status with the Financial Services Authority in the UK.

He left investment banking in 2006 to move to Asia. After working for several banks Martin wanted to set up an institution that could allow for a more client focused approach than was currently possible through working for large banks.

One of the founders of the Farringdon Group in 2007 based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He relocated to Singapore in 2010 to establish Farringdon Singapore. Martin is now the CEO of Farringdon Asset Management Pte Ltd as well as the company’s chief analyst.

Martin specializes in creating asset allocation models blending a range of traditional asset classes such as dividend equity and fixed income bonds to help clients achieve consistent and well diversified returns, he has extensive knowledge in offshore finance and tax planning.
